Abstract of Project Proposal
近年、先端技術の倫理的・法的・社会的課題（ELSI）への洞察が産学官の各方面でますます重要視されてきている。しかし、研究開発や技術利用、社会実装にかかるELSI 対応を担う人の人材像やその人材育成の方法論は未だ確立されていない。
この現状を受け、本企画では国内外の先端技術分野のELSI 研究者や企業実務家、リサーチアドミニストレーター（URA）との協働にもとづき、次代のELSI 人材育成の基盤構築を目指す。そのために、ELSI 対応を担う人材として、領域横断的な「ELSI 人材」（Multidisciplinary ELSITalents / MELSIT）のモデルを構築し、「ELSI 人材」育成の確かな道筋を示す。そして、大学教育開発機関および外部連携企業（株式会社メルカリおよび株式会社電通）との協働を通して、教育コンテンツの開発を行い、「ELSI 人材」育成開発にブレイクスルーをもたらす。
In recent years, the insight into the ethical, legal and social implications (ELSI) of advanced technologies have been attached great importance among industry, academia and government. However, it is still unclear what type of person is adequate for grasping and coping with ELSIs in R & D and Social implementation and how to develop those talents.
In response to the current situation, we aim to build a foundation for the development of the next ELSI Talents based on the collaboration with ELSI researchers in advanced technology fields, corporate practitioners and research administrators (URA). For the achievement of this purpose, we will provide a clear path to the ELSI Talents development by constructing a model of the person who grasps and copes with ELSIs in various areas (Multidisciplinary ELSI Talents / MELSIT). And we bring about a breakthrough in the development of the next ELSI Talents by developing educational content for ELSI Talents in collaborating with the center for education /development in Osaka University and external partner corporations (Mercari Inc. and Dentsu Inc.).
