Regarding the ethical, legal and social implications of artificial intelligence (AI), various discussions among the government, industry, academia and public are underway in Japan and abroad. However, in Japan, much of the discussion remains "principle", and the task of putting it into concrete “best practices” is still ambitious research. In overseas, not only research but also various tool kits and checklists are created by organizations such as “Partnership on AI” and universities. However, it is also necessary to discuss in conformity with Japanese culture, legal system, and custom. In this project, we aim to organize the communities of different disciplines and fields which are currently formed in Japan, conduct filed studies on domestic industry, and to form a platform to discuss the issue. We will formulate a community with members of different fields and industries involving young researchers and practitioners. Also, by releasing research report and proposals in English with international collaborations, we would like to form international and interdisciplinary network.
