The Asian-Pacific War occurred along with the Japan's largest migration that mobilized 10% of its population toward East and Southeast Asia. During three and half years under the Japanese occupation, "Children Born of War" in Southeast Asia came to existence between Japanese military/civilians father and mother from the occupied territories. In Europe, more than 340,000 "Children Born of War" came out between German military and local women under German occupation. Both German and Japanese Children Born of War experienced discrimination in their local societies as "collaborators" and "enemy children". On the one hand, German Children Born of War, at the result of cross-national activities for recognition, called special attention socially and scientifically, as a political settlement within post-war German reconcilliation. However, the existence of "Japanese Children Born of Asian-Pacific War" remains invisible yet to be historically or socialy recognized, although these children even had rights for Japanese citizenship according to the Patrilineal Japanese Nationality Act until 1984. 
 This project takes multidisciplinary approach to create a theoretical framework of "Japanese Children Born of Asian-Pacific War" in Japanese wartime/post-war policies towards "inter-rational marriages". The study builds database of repatriation records of Japanese fathers to empower these children for their own identification and creates a support model of international network of the aid groups across regions.
